Event Calendar 2013
As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, The Onancock Market invites different non-profit and community education organizations to set up at the market each week. We also invite musicians to come play at the Market and often hold community events and contests.

Eastern Shore Healthy Communities Coalition will be at the Market to discuss their mission and share information about their Healthy Options Restaurant initiative and an upcoming talk at the Accomac Library. Eastern Shore Healthy Communities imagines a healthier Eastern Shore merging from livable communities where children and adults have healthy eating choices at home, school and work; walk, swim and bicycle safely; play or exercise outdoors, in neighborhood parks, trails and open spaces; and enjoy tobacco-free communities. Learn more about Kids College — a one week program of exciting and fun classes at Eastern Shore Community College! Classes will run Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm from August 5th to August 9th and are open to all kids ages 10 to 14 years old. Kids can takes classes in Archaeology, Digital Photography, Nursing, Forensic Science CSI, Art, Robotics, and in partnership with the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay- Geocaching. All class sizes are limited and enrollment has already begun. You can get a registration packet or more information by calling the Kids College Coordinator, Laura Fosque at 757-789-7979.
