Opening Day started out chilly, but the spirits of the vendors warmed as shoppers arrived and the market filled with activity!
Gus the Bardic Troubador kept all entertained with Irish Folk tunes as friends and neighbors stopped to chat with each other, and become acquainted with the vendors. Canine friends of the market brought their owners by the Manager’s Booth to ascertain that treats would be offered again this year.
Farmers promised even more great produce to come as soon as the days become warmer. The sun finally made an appearance just as the noon closing bell rang. We counted 450 visitors to Opening Day!
Thanks for coming out to celebrate the beginning of the second season of The Onancock Market…See you next Saturday!
